Create Windows VM with UTM on Mac

• Install UTM: https://mac.getutm.app/
• Download Windows ISO: https://www.microsoft.com/it-it/software-download/windows10ISO
• On UTM click File/New al select ISO just downloaded

• Start the VM just created and press any key to startup Windows Installer.
• I don’t have a license so I install Windows home in Advanced Mode, in this way you can install Windows without product key.
• Setup your Windows Machine proceeding with steps (language, keyboard, backup, …).
• Open Edge, from the VM, visit this page: https://www.spice-space.org/download.html and in the “Windows binaries” section click on spice-guest-tools and install the .exe

• Now close the VM, right click on VM in the UTM app and change the display option (select Spice QXL GPU)

Now you should be able to extend the screen of your VM and use some utils like copy/paste from your master Mac.
